The Dream
Founded by two Brazilian entrepreneurs and friends, Guilherme Castro and retired Brazilian Olympic athlete Nicolas Oliveira, Cuia Açaí is inspired to bring a truly Brazilian açaí experience to the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Cuia’s açaí is wild harvested from the southeast side of Pará, Brazil’s largest area for naturally grown açaí. All the açaí used at Cuia grows wild, without human aid or disruption of the rainforest, and the base for its bowls and smoothies follows the Brazilian traditional recipe. Cuia’s açaí is made from the highest quality berries possible, delivering a highly concentrated product packed with natural antioxidants, including special phytonutrients called anthocyanin, as well as vitamins A, B6, E, calcium, and healthy fatty acids such as omegas 3, 6 and 9.
